In the press

On this last day of 2014 Pinch River is excited to share a recent little feature in the latest issue of Australian House & Garden magazine (February 2015 - out now).

As you can see in the image above my little 'wattle bird in the bottle brush' eco fabric pouch is included in their Natural Affinity collection.

I am chuffed to be ending 2014 and starting 2015 on this note and even more delighted to be in the company of such lovely makers & products... in particular two of my fav Australian designers Julie Paterson of Cloth and Bonnie and Neil. If you are wanting to purchase your own little pouch please visit my Etsy shop where you can find the one featured as well as other designs, colourways... and products!

Have a great NYE and see you all next year :)

Seasons greetings!

Wishing you all a fantastic Christmas and New Year, spent doing what you love and makes you happy.

I'm around over the holiday period with my Etsy shop remaining open but I have definitely wound down after a hectic schedule of markets, study, interning and work.

I'm currently working on taming a wild and overgrown garden and am so happy to finally have the time to be doing this... gardening and being outdoors in general is where I am in my element. I'll also be able to finally get back to my neglected garden diary (with a whole new garden) and that's where you will be likely to find me over the coming weeks before I turn my focus back to Pinch River for 2015.

Cushion sale in my Etsy shop!

I have been selling quite a few cushions lately at the markets I have been doing and I have decided it's time to move the remainder of this stock to make way for new colouways and combinations.

So I have just listed the majority of cushions sitting in my studio to my Etsy shop, all at wholesale prices. All are limited stock with many of the pieced-fabric cushions being one-off combinations... but if you want to match them to have a pair then contact me and I'll see what I can do.

The price on all cushions includes insert, GST and shipping... so no surprises at check-out - yay! A great gift for Xmas or for yourself for under $100.00 that treads as lightly on this planet as possible.

Many of the inserts are eco-friendly - they are lovely and plump and made from recycled PET bottles to stop them going in to landfill. (I will be using these from now on). The other inserts are made from polyester but are manufactured by a business with a strong environmental policy and being local to me (at the time of purchase) there were very low carbon miles on them. The covers are made from a beautiful hemp / organic cotton canvas and hand printed with water-based non-toxic inks... some are paired with a lovely cotton velveteen for a little pop of colour and texture.
